DISTRITO FEDERAL: Lago de Xochimilco: Lithobates montezumae ( Caballero, 1941b; Caballero, 1947a). ESTADO DE MÉXICO: Ciénaga de Lerma: Lithobates montezumae ( Caballero, 1941b; Pérez-Ponce de León et al., 2000), Lithobates sp. ( Caballero, 1941b) ; Lago de Texcoco: Lithobates montezumae (CNHE) .
NUEVO LEÓN: La Laguna (Higueras) : Lithobates berlandieri ( León-Règagnon et al., 2005b) .
Specimens deposited: CNHE (821, 823-24, 826, 1189, 1190, 1533, 3361, 4630).
Notes: Some part of the specimens collected in Lago de Xochimilco was described as Halipegus amhertensis ( Caballero, 1947a) ; re-examination of the original material showed they belong to Halipegus occidualis ( McAlpine & Burt, 1998) . Likewise, specimens from Ciénaga de Lerma and portions of the specimens collected from Lago de Xochimilco were identified as Halipegus lermensis ( Caballero, 1941b) but this species is considered a synonym of Halipegus occidualis ( Rankin, 1944; McAlpine & Burt, 1998).
