DISTRITO FEDERAL: Lago de Xochimilco: Ambystoma tigrinum ( Bravo-Hollis, 1943a) , Lithobates sp. ( Bravo-Hollis, 1941), Lithobates montezumae (Sokoloff & Caballero, 1933a; Bravo-Hollis, 1941). ESTADO DE MÉXICO: Ciénaga de Lerma: Ambystoma tigrinum ( Bravo-Hollis, 1943a) , Lithobates sp. ( Bravo-Hollis, 1941), Lithobates montezumae (Sokoloff & Caballero, 1933a; Bravo-Hollis, 1941); Lago de Texcoco: Lithobates montezumae (CNHE) . SINALOA: NA: Lithobates forreri (Goldberg & Bursey, 2002) . SONORA: NA: Leptodactylus melanonotus , Pachymedusa dacnicolor (Goldberg & Bursey, 2002) .

Specimens deposited: CNHE (874, 1207, 1209, 1431, 1542, 4597), USNPC (89808, 89815, 90732).

Notes: Description of material from Lago de Xochimilco and Ciénaga de Lerma (Sokoloff & Caballero, 1933a), was used to establish the species Megalodiscus montezumae ( Manter, 1938) , whose validity was rejected ( Manter, 1938; Bravo-Hollis, 1941). However, Yamaguti (1971) listed it among the valid species for the genus.
