DISTRITO FEDERAL: San Angel: Sceloporus torquatus ( Caballero, 1938c; Cid del Prado, 1971). DURANGO, GUANAJUATO, HIDALGO, MORELOS, SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, SINALOA, SONORA, TAMAULIPAS, VERACRUZ: NA: Sceloporus jarrovi ( Goldberg et al., 1996) . NA: NA: Sceloporus grammicus , Sceloporus mucronatus ( Goldberg et al., 2003b) . OAXACA: NA: Sceloporus formosus ( Goldberg et al., 2003b) .

Notes: According to Moravec et al. (1990), all North and Central American species are closely related or even identical; however, Bursey et al. (2003) considered Strongyluris similis as an independent and valid species.
