Specimens deposited: CNHE (2009, 2010) (H, P).
Notes: This species was described as Macracis prolixa by Caballero and Zerecero (1943), synonymyzed with Ozolaimus monhystera by Bravo-Hollis and Brenes-Madrigal (1959) and transferred to Ozolaimus by Inglis et al., (1960). Baker (1987) considered O. prolixa as a valid species; more recently, Moravec et al. (1996) synonymyzed O. prolixa with O. ctenosauri .
