CHIAPAS: Tapachula: Dermophis mexicanus ( Caballero, 1933a) .

Specimens deposited: CNHE (1948-49, 2226) (H, P).

Notes: Specimens described as Oxysomatium mexicanum by Caballero (1933) and transferred to Aplectana by Ballesteros (1945). Based on this material, Yamaguti (1961) established the genus Neoxysomatoides , currently a synonym of Aplectana ( Chabaud, 1978) .
