Bulirsch (cRou) ; 4 exs., Manolates , 100-400 m, 7.-16.VII.2007, leg. Bulirsch (cRou, cAss) ; 1 ex., Karlovasi, 11.-16.IX.1996, leg. Wendt & Hieke ( MNHUB) .

C o m m e n t: The distribution of M. lydicus ranges from western Anatolia and the Greek islands Rhodos, Samos, Ikaria, and Lesbos across Bulgaria to southeastern Yugoslavia ( ASSING 2004a, 2005a, 2005b, 2007b). The specimen from Serbia represents a new country record and considerably expands the known distribution of the species northwestwards ( Map 2 View Map 2 ).
