Material examined. Four females, USA, Virginia, Conte de Halifax , mixed woods along Brandon Creek , ca 8 km from SW of Turbeville , 18 March 1995, collected by R.L. Hoffmann. Four females, USA, Virginia, Floyd County, Buffalo Mountain , south slope at 1100m ex Berlese funnel, 29 December 2003, collected by R.L. Hoffman. Five females, USA, Virginia, Bland county , west side of Big Walker Mountain , 1500m, ca 6 km E of Sharon springs, northern hard-woods, 9 May. 1981, collected by R.L. Hoffman.
Notes. This species was described from Canada, and it is now recorded from USA for the first time.
