Material examined. 2 females (slide number NJAUAcariEriW49), from Quercus sp. (Fagaceae) , The Jiuhua Mountain, Anhui Province, P. R. China, 30°28'18" N, 117°48'10" E, elevation 621m, 3 October 2007, coll. Zi-Wei Song and Zhen Wang, vagrant on the host plant, occurred together with Cecidophyes tampae Keifer, 1966 ; 1 female (slide number NJAUAcariEriW100), from Quercus sp. (Fagaceae) , The Tiantangzhai National Forest Park, Jinzhai County, Anhui Province, P. R. China, 31°09'57" N, 115°45'57" E, elevation 587m, 10 September 2008, coll. Zi-Wei Song and Zhen Wang, erineum on the host plant, occurred together with Cereusacarus maopingensis sp. nov. and Calesalquia tiantangzhaica sp. nov.

Host. Quercus alba , Q. virginana , Q. sp. ( Fagaceae ).

Relation to host. Erineum, vagrant.

Distribution. USA, China (Anhui).
