Remarks. Observed specimens fit in the species diagnosis, but eyes are pubescent. Brazilian immatures were found at streams on superficial stones and leaves, at the same kind of habitat as the type material.
Corynoneura unicapsulata was originally found in small rivers of the Atlantic Forest in Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul states ( Wiedenbrug & Trivinho-Strixino 2011). In the present study this species was for the first time recorded in small streams of a Semideciduous Forest in Mato Grosso do Sul and Goiás States in Brazil , as well as in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica .
