Description

Female: Length of body 10 mm, of forewing 10 mm, of antenna 9.5 mm, of exserted part of ovipositor 15 mm.

Head. Antenna with 59 flagellomeres; terminal flagellomere acuminate; median flagellomeres 1.1; 1st flagellomere 1.4 × longer than 2nd and 3rd separately; width of head: width of face:height of eye = 1.8:1.0:1.0; intertentorial distance 1.37 × shortest distance between tentorial pit and eye; frons weakly and gradually impressed behind antennal sockets; shortest distance between posterior ocelli:transverse diameter of posterior ocellus:shortest distance between posterior ocellus and eye = 1.6:1.0:3.0; length of head behind eye 0.5 × length of eye in dorsal view.

Mesosoma. 1.9 × longer than high; scutellar sulcus with small medial notch; midposterior margin of propodeum gradually enlarged.

Wings. Forewing vein 3RSb 1.8 × longer than 3RSa and 6 × longer than rs-m; vein 1-M strongly expanding before junction with (Rs+M)a; anterior junction of vein 1cu-1 swollen; vein m-cu strongly thickened, weakly curved; base of hind wing with small glabrous area, not emarginate.

Legs. Foretibia with piceous long setae.

Metasoma. 1st tergite 1.3 × longer than apically wide with irregular longitudinal rugae between dorsal carinae, smooth lateral to dorsal carinae; 2nd tergite 1.3 × wider posteriorly than medially long, 1.15 × longer medially than tergite 3, with short midbasal triangular area, with posteriorly converging sublateral carinae that narrow and bifurcate posteriorly; 3rd tergite largely with strong longitudinal striation including pair of parallel medial carinae; 4th metasomal tergite with some longitudinal striae mediobasally forming a fan-like pattern and narrowly crenulate transverse median groove; ovipositor 1.5 × longer than body; ovipositor sheaths with dense, long setosity.

Colour. Head (including stemmaticum), scapus (except dark laterally) yellow; mesosoma, fore and mid legs orange; flagellum, hind legs and metasoma black; wing membrane yellow but apical part of forewing and apical and posterior part of hind wing infuscate.
