Note: Brenan (in Mitt. Bot. Staatssamml. München 5: 203. 1964) treated 65.3 (LINN) as the type but this collection lacks the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. “2”) and was a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name.
