Description of female terminalia. Posterior margin of T5 triangular, brown, with golden microtrichosity dorsally and silver spots laterally ( Figs 90–92 View FIGURES 87–92 ). T6 divided into two halves, yellow, with golden microtrichosity restricted to anterior half and a row of setae near posterior margin. Spiracles 6 and 7 located on T6. T8 absent ( Figs 87, 90 View FIGURES 87–92 ). Epiproct not sclerotized, represented by a row of long and fine setae. Cercus covered with long and fine setae. Hypoproct not sclerotized, represented by a row of long and fine setae ( Fig. 88 View FIGURES 87–92 ). ST6 wider than long, with posterior margin wider than anterior margin, covered with few setulae and with thicker setae near posterior margin. ST7 and ST8 fused, almost square ( Fig. 87 View FIGURES 87–92 ). Spermathecae globular, with a small rounded chamber where they receive the spermathecal duct ( Fig. 89 View FIGURES 87–92 ).

Distribution in Brazil. Pará, Rio de Janeiro.

Remarks. See remarks under P. (P.) hillifera . This species is apparently associated with coastal environments such as beaches and mangrove forests. One male (not listed above) was found visiting the flower of a mangrove tree ( Avicennia sp.: Acanthaceae ) by FSCF.
