NEW DATA. — First record of the species for Algeria.
DISTRIBUTION. — Mediterranean region ( Bretfeld 2001).
REMARK
Very rare in our samples. This colorful large size species is reported here to P. italica rather than the Algerian species P. blidana Bretfeld, 2001 for its second antennal segment with two white band on a violet background, considered as a diagnostic character by Bretfeld (2001).
