Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from others in the genus by the crown length 0.8x or less than interocular width, aedeagus with shaft gracile, slightly asymmetrical, unpaired apical process of aedeagus long, recurved and paralleling shaft at a significant distance from shaft and with apex distinctly bent caudad and not widely flared, paired apical processes of aedeagus small and toothlike, dorsal side of aedeagal base excavated, and phragma sides in caudal view bent mesad below anal tube and paralleling close to each other throughout length to bulbous base.
Body. Male, 4.3 mm. Female, 4.9–5.2 mm.
Color. As in genus description.
Male. Pygofer short, robust; in dorsal view slightly constricted before apex; with numerous very short setae posteriorly. Subgenital plates short, rounded laterally; apices rounded; laterally with numerous very short thick setae; with a loosely oriented row moderately long setae running along middle of plate. Aedeagus shaft gracile, slightly asymmetrical; unpaired apical process long, recurved and paralleling shaft, widely separated from shaft, extreme apex distinctly bent caudad, not widely flared; paired apical processes small, toothlike; dorsal side of aedeagal base deeply excavated; basal half of aedeagal shaft parallel to caudoventral margin of base. Phragma sides in caudal view bent mesad below anal tube, paralleling and close to each other throughout length to bulbous base.
Female. Sternite VII lateral margins broadly rounded; posterior margin shallowly and broadly excavated, forming pair of blunt lateral lobes; in uncleared specimens (see note in Results: Morphology on the effect of clearing the female abdomen on these structures), with paired dark brown arcuate markings reaching past middle of posterior margin.

Distribution. This species is known from Argentina (Buenos Aires Prov.).
Etymology. This species is named for the Otamendi Nature Reserve, the type locality. It is treated as a noun.
Remarks. This species is very similar to C. hecaloides . However consistent differences in the characters of the aedeagus noted above at different localities justify considering it a distinct species.
