Type locality. Algeria: “Algerien. ♀ Type (Biskra, III.1931, leg. Meyer) Coll. m.” .

Holotype, ♀: Biskra S Algérie III.1931 Dr. R. Meyer // ♀ Type Hedychridium Ab. dismorphum Lins.Linsenmaier det. 1959 // 57 // NML _ENT GBIF _Chr0009807 (ex type-collection).

Remarks. Linsenmaier in the type-collection labelled a male specimen as the allotype, with the following labels: Tunesien Jendouba 10 km N. 15.V.1978 leg. Jos. Schmidt // ♂ Allotype Hedychridium dismorphum Lins. det. Linsenmaier 1977. This specimen has no type status since it was collected after the description and does not belong to the original type series.
