Type locality: Peru, Meshagua, Urubamba River. Lectotype male (designated herein), NHMW (examined). Distrib. – Peru, Bolivia.
Comments. Hendel (1925) cites “ 2 male female aus Peru, Meshagua, 29/9.03. leg. Schnuse”. The syntypes at the NHMW collection were examined and the male specimen, labeled " Peru, Meshagua, 26.ix.03, Urubamba H./ Coll. Hendel", is herein designated lectotype. The female type labelled as the male, except for “29/9.03” is designated paralectotype.
Material examined. Lectotype male and paralectotype female, PERU: Meshagua, Urubamba River ( NHMW). MEXICO: Vera Cruz, Crawford coll., 1 male ( EMUS); Chiapas, Dona Maria, Crawford coll., 1 female ( EMUS). BOLIVIA: Mapiri, Sarampioni, 1 female ( NHMW).
