Identification. Characterized by erect stems, and small (10–20 × 2–3 mm), deeply pinnatifid leaves. Sori on lat- eral veins, coalescing at maturity into a coenosorus on each side of the midrib. Not easily confused with any other fern from the area.
Distribution and habitat. Pantropical. Epiphytic in forests.
