Distribution

Palaearctic. Scattered records from Europe and Altai ( Chandler 2004, Zaitzev 2003). In Fennoscandia known from Finland ( Hackman 1980), Norway ( Søli and Kjaerandsen 2008) and Sweden ( Kjaerandsen et al. 2007). New to the Republic of Karelia.

Ecology

Immature stages are unknown. The Karelian specimen was collected in a herb-richbirch dominated forest.
