Cotinis barthelemyi (Gory and Percheron, 1833)

Teratology. Male with an unusual structure on the surface of the frons between the frontal and clypeal projections ( Fig. 1 View Figs ). According to Balazuc (1948), this case can be considered as a tumor formation, irregular and pedunculated. This type of malformation usually appears on the head and pronotum in Coleoptera ( Balazuc 1948) .
