Notes
Since Townes (1970), Rhembobius has been placed in the Phygadeuontini , subtribe Ethelurgina , along with other parasitoids of syrphid ( Diptera ) larvae, but Quicke et al. (2009) always found Rhembobius to group with the Hemigastrini in their molecular phylogenetic analyses.
