Description. MALE. Body length 1.56 mm. LFW 1.33 mm. Maximum wing width 0.53 mm. Color. Head and mesosoma dark castaneous; metasoma castaneous.

Head. Mandible with two apical teeth. Clypeus with median lobe ill-defined; with one tooth, median tooth rounded; median carina absent. Ratio of first four antennal segments about 10:4:4:5. Frons weakly coriaceous, punctures small. LH 1.08 × WH, WF 0.68 × WH, WF 1.31 × HE, OOL 1.13 × WOT, DAO 0.38 × WOT, posterior ocelli distant from vertex crest 0.33 × DAO, frontal angle of ocellar triangle right, VOL 0.7 × HE. Vertex crest weakly convex. Occipital carina visible in dorsal view.

Mesosoma. Pronotal disc weakly coriaceous, anterior margin ecarinate. Notauli shallow, incomplete, not reaching posterior margin of mesoscutum, evenly narrow, parallel. Propodeal disc 1.13 × as long as wide; basal triangle polished, posterolateral area polished; median carina posteriorly incomplete; lateral margins straight, converging posterad; posterior carina absent. Lateral of propodeum mostly imbricate. Propodeal declivity mostly polished.

Metasoma. Tergal process with with shallow, longitudinally elliptical and sublateral pair of depressions;

depressions 0.5 × as long as tergite II, diverging posterad, distant each other 4.33 × maximum transverse diameter, with setae long and lateroposterad on lateral area, without pair of tubercles, with laterad tuft of setae ( Figs 79–80 View FIGURES 69–83 ). Hypopygium with median stalk 0.62 × as long as hypopygeal plate; median stalk narrow; corner of anterior margin angular; lateral stalk of hypopygium 0.25 × as long as median stalk; posterior margin convex; corner absent ( Fig. 121 View FIGURES 119–127 ).

Genitalia ( Figs 210–211 View FIGURES 210–217 ). Genital ring strongly produced, each half convex in dorsal view. Basiparamere with dorsal surface rectangular, much narrower than ventral surface. Paramere with basal area wider than basiparamere apex; apex rounded; apical margin strongly concave in ventral view, not curved. Basivolsella glabrous. Aedeagus 3 × as long as wide; dorsal body of aedeagus narrower apically, narrowing abruptly apicad, lateral margin strongly convex medially, parallel, apex with one pair of outer lobe; base of dorsal body of aedeagus strongly sclerotized, strongly concave, with median region angulate; ventral ramus of aedeagus surpassing half length of dorsal body, not reaching base of apical lobe of dorsal body, lateral margin of ventral ramus sinuous, much wider medially and base as narrow as apex. Apodeme not extending beyond genital ring.

FEMALE unknown.

Variations. Body length between 1.52 and 1.78 mm; LFW between 1.25 and 1.36 mm; maximum wing width between 0.49 and 0.57 mm; upper margin of depression of tergal process setosesetose.

Remarks. Dissomphalus robus sp. nov. is similar to D. geanus sp. nov. because of the following characteristics: LFW 1.33 mm; maximum wing width 0.53 mm; frontal carina as long as clypeus; clypeal median carina absent; pedicel as long as flagellomere I; WF 1.31 × HE; DAO 0.38 × WOT; distance between posterior ocellus and vertex crest 0.33 × DAO; anterior ocellus 0.18 × as wide as WF; pronotal declivity low; dorsal surface of basivolsella shorter than ventral surface; digitus long; aedeagal dorsal body with base and apex abruptly narrowed. However, D. robus sp. nov. differs from D. geanus sp. nov. as follows: hypopygium rounded, median stalk narrow and abruptly bulging apically; basiparamere slightly wider apically, dorsal surface almost as large as ventral surface; paramere with basal region wider than basiparamere apex, ventral surface undivided; aedeagal ventral ramus very wide basally, abruptly narrowing apicad, longer than half length of dorsal body, but not reaching base of apical lobe of dorsal body.
