Dissomphalus khaoyaiensis Terayama, 1995: 10 (♀, description, figs 3–8); 1996: 589 (cladistic analysis); 2001: 89 (key); 2003: 13 (cladistic analysis). Terayama & Yamane, 1997: 215 (taxonomic comment).
D. khaoyaiensis is only species known based on females from Thailand. The holotype is deposited at PMAE and no other additional material was published since its original description. Besides that, D. khaoyaiensis was not found among the specimens collected in the TIGER project .
MALE unknown.
Material examined. Holotype, ♀. THAILAND. 180 km N. E. Bangkok, Khao Yai N.P., 780 m, 11-18-IV- 1990, M. T. 4, Moist Semi evergreen Forest, B. V. Brown (PMAE).
Distribution. Thailand (180 km NE Bangkok).
