Ceraphron vernoniae nuxiae n.var.: RISBEC 1953: 319 (fig. 5), 320 (figs 6, 7), 321 (descr. ♀, biol., Madagascar).

Aphanogmus vernoniae var. nuxiae ( RISBEC, 1953) : DESSART 1989: 214 (cat.), 216 (tax.).

D i s t r i b u t i o n: Madagascar: Prov. Antananarivo: Mandraka.

Endemic. This subspecies is not mentioned in PAULIAN DE FELICE (1962: 53). Ceraphron vernoniae var. nuxiae RISBEC, 1953 is an available subgeneric name (ICZN 1999: Article 45.6.4), because RISBEC (1953) described only varieties.
