Type locality. Palermo (Sicily). Described also from Siracusa (Sicily) and Sardinia.

Remarks. Settepassi (1985) figured three syntypes from Palermo as Fusinus (Fusinus) rudis parvulus Monterosato. Recorded by MolluscaBase (2018) as Fusinus parvulus (Monterosato, 1884) .
