Type material. MCZR–M–5801 —1 aggregate “ Bivonia serpuloides Monts Aci –trezza (Aradas) figurata nella tabella VII”.

Type locality. Described from Acitrezza (Sicily).

Remarks. Recorded by MolluscaBase (2018) as taxon inquirendum. According to the type material found it belongs to Thylacodes arenarius (Linnaeus, 1758) [new synonymy].
