Diagnosis. Medium sized moths (wingspan 37–42 mm) with pale yellowish-grey forewing and pale yellow hindwing without terminal band. Head and thorax covered with greyish-yellow scales. Antennae with distinct scapus, filiform; labial palps short, compressed, 3rd segment small, 3 times shorter than 2nd; frons smooth, proboscis developed; eyes covered by sparse hairs; forewing moderate in width, with rounded apex, angled medially; M 2 in hindwing well developed. Abdomen without crest. Wing pattern characteristic for the genus, formed by thin angled lines; C- or V-like reniform and characteristic brownish apical dash oblique separated costal area in subterminal and terminal fields. Coremata formed by paired lateral brushes of long hairs basally and a single one on sternite 8th ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 18 – 20 ). This character is unique autapomorphy among Pantheinae . In male genitalia uncus moderate, cylindrical, basally curved; tegument relatively broad, without peniculus, equal to vinculum in height; juxta rather small, shield-shaped; valva moderate in length, tapered or rounded apically; sacculus small or moderate; costa rather strong, without extension; harpe moderate or small, directed longitudinally or transversally, heavily sclerotised, pointed; apex of valva pointed or rounded, without cucullus or corona. Aedeagus short, massive, or long and thin, in some cases protruded apically; vesica tubular-wide, with 1–2 small diverticula, basal or apical diverticula. In female genitalia papillae anales short, quadrangular; apophyses anterior and posterior ones relatively short, equal in length or anterior somehow longer than posterior ones; ductus bursae moderate or long, antrum large or small; corpus bursae moderate, rounded. The genus includes three species distributed in the Oriental region.
