Remarks.
Replacement name for the junior secondary homonym Melanoptychia bittneri Neumayr, 1880, non Melanopsis bittneri Fuchs, 1877. Neubauer et al. (2016c: 275-276) considered the species as a junior synonym of Melanopsis carusi (Brusina, 1902).
