LITERATURE. — Thonnérieux et al. (1989); Balanca & de Visscher (1997); van den Bergh (2013).

STATUS. — Palaearctic vagrant.

REMARK. — Only the record of a bird identified mainly on the basis of the distinctive song, on 13.XII.2011 at Ouagadougou classified forest (Parc Bangre Weogo (Van Den Berg 2013) has been accepted by Borrow & Demey (2014), while the others need revision.
