Distribution. Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, Peru, and Venezuela.

Guerrero & M. Torres (1 ♀-ANDES-E); San Martín, Las Unamas, 3°54’N – 73°11’W, 240 m, 11-IV-2003, L. Ojeda (1 ♂ - UNAB); Villavicencio, III-2010, A. Agueyra (1 ♂, 1 ♀-ANDES-E); Villavicencio, 700 m, 4-XI-2001, M. Gullen, (1 ♂ - UNAB); Puerto Gaitán, 5-IV-1994, H. Roa (1 ♀- UNAB); San Martín, Hato las Pampas, Finca las Unamas, 300 m, 1-15-IV-2011, W. Galvis (1 ♂ - ICN).
New locality records. Corydalus batesii was previously recorded from the Department of Antioquia (Contreras-Ramos 1998). The first records for the departments of Cundinamarca and Meta are presented here. Adults of this species are often collected from the Orinoco Basin associated with gallery forests.
