Type locality. Touenké , Haute-Maroni, French Guiana.
Remarks. The species is medium sized for the genus and can be distinguished by brown infuscation on the basal areas of the wings. The timbal cover apex expands over the lateral timbal cavity with the rounded apex ( Fig. 22 View FIGURE 22 ). Body length 26–29 mm, fore wing length 35–39 mm ( Boulard 1999 and specimens in the AFSC).
Distribution. The species has been reported previously from French Guiana ( Boulard 1998; Sanborn 2011a).
