Type locality. Bogotá, Colombia.
Remarks. The species was transferred to Dorisiana based on the three-segmented tarsi ( Sanborn 2010). However, the timbal cover fits the expanded description of Guyalna provided here ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 ). As a result, the species is hereby transferred to Guyalna to become Guyalna bogotana ( Distant, 1892) n. comb. Body length 24–26 mm, fore wing length 35–38 mm.
Distribution. The species has been reported previously from Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, and Peru ( Metcalf 1963; Sanborn 2010; 2013).
