Diagnosis. Forewing length is 10–10.5 mm in males and 10.5– 14 mm in females. The new species ( Figs 1–4 View FIGURES 1–11 ) differs externally from the two relatives ( Figs 5–11 View FIGURES 1–11 ) by the slightly larger size and broader forewing of both sexes. The male genitalia of A. sinocontinentalis sp. n. ( Figs 12, 13 View FIGURES 12–15 ) are most similar to those of A. mangae sp. n. ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 12–15 ), but differ by slightly broader juxta, the valva being slightly more broadened distally, the more prominent distal costal process, the more robust, claw-shaped distal saccular process (that is thin and nearly straight in A. mangae sp. n.), and the presence of a sclerotized area often bearing a small subbasal thorn at the base of the medial distal cornutus (absent in A. mangae sp. n.). The female genitalia of the new species ( Figs 16–18 View FIGURES 16–21 ) differ from those of A. mangae sp. n. ( Figs 19, 20 View FIGURES 16–21 ) by the slightly shorter ductus bursae, the larger left sclerotized lobe of corpus bursae, the presence of the large medial sclerotized lobe of corpus bursae, and the appendix bursae directed laterally (in A. mangae sp. n. that is directed anteriorly).

Distribution. The species is known from continental China (Sichuan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong Provinces).

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to its distribution in the continental part of China.
