Distribution. Mt Kilimanjaro (Sjöstedt 1909).
Described by Sjöstedt (1909) from Mt Kilimanjaro.
Ecology and biology. Adults in April and September (Sjöstedt 1909). Night active species found in submontane elevations in the plantation belt and bushland.
Habitat. Plantation belt SW-Kilimanjaro (Sjöstedt 1909). Bushland in submontane elevations and on bushes and trees at the lower border of the montane forest.
Altitudinal range at Mt Kilimanjaro: 1300–1700 m.
Records: 3
Remarks. A female nymph resembling G. kilimandjaricus was collected in montane elevations of Mt Hanang.
