Distribution. Kenya, Tanzania (Hemp et al., 2013).
Habitat. Canopy dweller in the plantation belt and submontane forest on the southern slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro.
Song. Hemp et al., 2013. E. resonans produces a distinctly different song as all other known Eurycorypha species, a resonant, gryllid-like type of song for which is was named. It consists of two different types of echemes, one with two syllables and the other with many syllables. A polysyllabic echeme contains 9 to 21 syllables, with syllable periods of 26 to 54 ms. Each syllable consists of one pulse.
