Distribution. Kenya (Chopard 1938); Uganda, Tanzania (Hemp et al., 2013).
Habitat. Canopy dweller in the plantation belt and submontane forest on the southern slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro.
Song. Hemp et al., 2013. Song consists of echemes with two parts, a first softer and shorter one and a second one being louder and longer. The song is produced in intervals of several minutes up to hours.

Altitudinal range at Mt Kilimanjaro: 1200–1500 m.
