Distribution. Western Atlantic— Brazil (Pará, Maranhão, São Paulo) (Coelho & Ramos-Porto 1972; Melo 1999).

Remarks. Previous record from the coast of São Paulo includes Guarujá ( Rodrigues 1971 as Callianassa ).
