Radfordia zibethicalis (Radford)

Ex Ondatra zibethicus (musk rat): 1F, TN, Blount Co., Cades Cove, 24 Apr. 1935, R. J. Fleetwood. Radfordia zibethicalis has not been previously reported in the Park, but this mite is known to infest muskrats from Indiana and Texas (Bauer and Whitaker 1981).
