Diagnosis. Wing brownish, relatively short, with five distinct hyaline spots; fore femur with row of pv shorter than width of fore femur; male T3 and T4 subequal in length; sternites relatively wide; ventral receptacle long, tubelike.
Distribution. China (Tibet). Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkmenistan.
Remarks. This species was redescribed by Olafsson (1991) in details with figurations of the male genitalia. No specimens are available for the present study.
