Type locality. Taunovo Bay, Viti Levu, Fiji.

Material examined. Western Australia: many specimens, WAM C43787, Montgomery Island, Kimberley (16°00.715’S 124°10.248’E), intertidal, back reef, 23 October 2009, coll. Andrew Hosie (25/K09-T2).

Cocos (Keeling) Islands: 1 male, 5.4 mm, dissected, 4 slides, AM P.90104, dive site “Surf Shack Drift”, western side of West Island (12°9’34”S 96°48’59”E), 17 m, rubble outside of cave, 15 October 2008, coll. Remarks. This is the first record of A. kava from the oceanic islands of the Indian Ocean.
