Description of Enterococcus casseliflavus AMR View in CoL 3203
Cells are Gram-staining-positive, non-flagellated and coccoid-shaped. Colonies are circular and white-colored after 2 days of incubation on MRSA at 37°C. Positive for D- glucose fermentation, esculin hydrolysis and β -galactosidase activity. Negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, fermentation of L- arginine and urea and gelatin hydrolysis. Unable to utilize D- glucose, L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, N -acetylglucosamine, D- maltose, potassium gluconate, caprate, adipate, malate, trisodium citrate and phenylacetate. Strain AMR3203 (= NIBRBAC000498397) was isolated from eagle feces.
