Scaptodrosophila longiciliata View in CoL sp. nov.

( Figs 3D–F View FIGURE 3 , 9 View FIGURE 9 )

Diagnosis. This species resembles S. fuscilimba Liu & Chen, 2018 in some characters of body colour patterns and shape of hypandrium, but can be distinguished from it by surstylus fused to epandrium ( Fig. 9A, B View FIGURE 9 ); pregonite expanded, longer than hypandrium ( Fig. 9C, D View FIGURE 9 ). This species exhibits the closest genetic affinity to S. longispinata in light of divergence in COI barcodes ( Table 2 View TABLE 2 ).

Description. Head ( Fig. 3D View FIGURE 3 ): Frons brown. Pedicel dark brown. First flagellomere yellowish brown. Facial carina brown, 1/4 the length of face.

Thorax ( Fig. 3E, F View FIGURE 3 ): Mesonotum yellowish brown. Scutellum yellowish brown. Pleura yellowish brown.

Abdomen ( Fig. 3E, F View FIGURE 3 ): Tergites II to V yellowish brown with hazel caudal bands.

Male terminalia ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 ): Epandrium with ca. 10 epandrial bristles near posterior and ventral margins per side. Surstylus with 10 peg-like surstylar teeth on caudal margins ( Fig. 9A, B View FIGURE 9 ). Hypandrium with a pair of paramedian hypandrial bristle. Pregonite with 2 sensilla medially. Phallus lacking pubescence ( Fig. 9C, D View FIGURE 9 ).
