Lerneca digrediens ( Otte, 2006) , n. comb.
http://lsid.speciesfile.org/urn:lsid: Orthoptera .speciesfile.org:TaxonName:28195 Amphiacusta digrediens 0tte, 2006: 368.
Type locality. Costa Rica, Heredia, Estacion Biologica La Selva.
The genus Lerneca is well-characterized by its size, morphology and male and female genitalia (Desutter- Grandcolas 1992a). It has but very little in common with Amphiacusta ( Desutter-Grandcolas and Otte 1997) . So there is no doubt as to the generic attribution of the species described as Amphiacusta digrediens by Otte (2006): even though the description is so poor that it allows no diagnosis in itself, the habitus of the holotype and its male genitalia ( Otte 2006, Fig. 70) fit perfectly Lerneca diagnosis. I propose to transfer A. digrediens to Lerneca .
