Type species. Aequsomatus lanceolatae Meyer & Ueckermann, 1995: 232–233 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) absent; empodium entire; scapular setae (sc) present; dorsoventral annuli of opisthosoma subequal.
This genus consists of 3 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Two of them were described from Thailand ( Boczek & Chandrapatya 2000c).
