Type species. Callyntrotus schlechtendali Nalepa, 1894a:71–72 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; scapular setae (sc) and tubercles ahead of rear shield margin; opisthosoma with six ridges; empodium entire; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae.
This genus consists of 6 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Four of these were described from Thailand ( Boczek & Chandrapatya 1989a; Chandrapatya & Boczek 2001c, 2002b).
