Type species. Tegophyes benjamini Chandrapatya & Boczek, 2001b: 104 , 105.
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; empodium entire; scapular setae (sc) with long, finger-like tubercles, directed posteriorly; first dorsal annulus of opisthosoma broad.
This genus consists of 2 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Both were described from Thailand (Chandrapatya
& Boczek 2001).
