Remarks. Amrine, et al. (2003) assigned Thiracarus Chandrapatya, 1998 as a synonym of Knorella Keifer, 1975 . Knorella bambusae ( Kuang & Feng, 1989) , known from China has priority in the homonymy. The specific designation blumcanae is from the species name blumcana of the host plant.
