Type species. Casearius wermiformis Boczek & Chandrapatya, 2000g: 433–434 .
Diagnosis. Body vermiform; female genitalia appressed to coxae; scapular tubercles and setae present, prodorsal shield with a short, broad-based rounded lobe; proximal setae on coxisternum I (1a) absent; genu II seta absent; opisthosoma setae d and e absent.
This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003).
