Type species. Cheiracus sulcatus Keifer, 1977a: 23–24 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; gnathosoma large, abruptly curved and bent down near base; scapular setae (sc) present; empodium entire; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae; opisthosoma with a furrow.
This genus consists of 4 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Only one species has been recorded from Southeast Asia.
