Type species. Garcinyes mangosteenis Boczek & Chandrapatya, 2000f: 396 , 397–398.
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; scapular setae (sc) and tubercles ahead of rear shield margin, directed centrally, anterior lobe absent; anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) absent; paraxial tibial seta (l’) absent, empodium entire; opisthosomal setae e absent.
This genus consists of 2 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Both are known only from Thailand.
