Type species. Diptilomiopus javanicus Nalepa, 1916: 283–284 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; gnathosoma large, abruptly curved and bent down near base; scapular setae (sc) absent; genu absent from both legs, paraxial tibial seta (l’) absent, empodium divided; anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) absent.
This genus consists of 71 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Thirty-two of these have been recorded from Southeast Asia.
